<p>Marianne Harvey Bocox, age 91, of Lakeland, Florida died on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Lakeland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lakeland, Florida.<br /> She was born on June 26, 1930, the daughter of Clarence and Frances (Callison) Harvey. She married Melvin G. Bocox ("Bo") on August 29, 1948 at the East Main Congregational Church in Galesburg, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2004.<br /> Marianne is survived by her daughters, Peggy Bocox of Lakeland, Florida, Gail (Mike) DeUnger of Jefferson, Georgia; and Donna (Terry) Evans of Raleigh, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Jessica (Jamie) Limato of Front Royal, Virginia; Michael DeUnger of Jacksonville, Florida; Susan (Justin) Douglas of Jacksonville, Florida; Luke (Sarah) Evans of Cary, North Carolina; Mark (Crystal) Evans of Chesapeake, Virginia; thirteen great grandchildren; and one brother, Warren Harvey of Port Charlotte, Florida.<br /> Marianne graduated from Galesburg High School in 1948.<br /> Marianne worked for many years at Accounting Systems in Galesburg before moving to Lakeland, Florida in 1974. Marianne retired in 1993 from the Heart of Florida Girl Scouts Council in Lakeland.<br /> Marianne was a charter member of Bethany Baptist Church in Galesburg, Illinois. When she and Bo moved to Florida, she was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church of Lakeland.<br /> Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lanier.care.
