<p>Dawn Marie Nieves (ne&eacute; Garcia), of Stamford CT, formerly of New Rochelle, NY, passed away on September 4, 2021 and went to be with her Heavenly Father at the tender age of 52. She was the daughter of late Louis Garcia and Marianne Garcia (ne&eacute; Furgiuele) and sister to late Louis Garcia Jr. and Victoria Garcia. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Heriberto (Eddie) Nieves, an employee of 91 Fountain Terrace Condominium; her children Christopher, Nicole, Timothy, Danielle; and her two granddaughters Analisa Nieves and Ariah Crooks. She is also survived by her sister, Regina Garcia (Robert Thomas) and brother, Michael Garcia, as well as uncle Joseph Furgiuele (Ann Furgiuele), cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.<br /> <br /> Dawn was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She always cared for others before herself and helped others in any way she could. She never judged and welcomed all with open arms. Dawn was beyond proud of the family she built and the life she created. She leaves behind nothing but amazing memories to cherish for a lifetime and devoted her life to God, her husband, her children and grandchildren.<br /> <br /> If you knew Dawn and would like to pay your respects, a service to celebrate her life and legacy will be held Friday September 17th at 7pm at Black Rock Congregational Church, 3685 Black Rock Turnpike Fairfield CT, 06825.</p> <p>For information or to offer an online condolence please visit www.SpearFuneralHome.com.</p>

She was the daughter of late Louis Garcia and Marianne Garcia (neé Furgiuele) and sister to late Louis Garcia Jr. and Victoria Garcia.
