<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Joan De Luca</strong></p> <p style="text-align: center;">Joan De Luca, 86 of Parsippany passed away on September 9, 2021.</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Joan at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Wednesday September 15 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, 312 Ridgedale Ave. East Hanover on Thursday September 16 at 9:45 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Born in Newark, Joan was raised in the Ironbound section of Newark before moving to East Hanover, and finally to Parsippany 17 years ago. In her youth Joan won a beauty contest as well as many medals as a talented swimmer, at the Hayes pool in the Ironbound section. She was also a member of the Red Hat Social Club for many years. Above all,</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Joan was a fantastic mother, and a terrific cook. She was all about her family and would do anything for her family. She will be greatly missed.</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Joan was the loving mother of Jimmy De Luca and Thomas De Luca and his wife Anne; cherished grandmother of Danielle, Jaclyn, Tommy and Michael, and adoring great-grandmother of Jenna, Melania and Nicolette.
