<p>Graveside services for Mary &quot;Nell&quot; Mangum Jones of Shreveport, LA, will be held at Forest Park Cemetery West on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 12:00 noon. Officiating will be Brother James Morgan.</p> <p>Nell was born on December 29, 1945, in Shreveport, LA, and passed away on September 7, 2021, after a lengthy illness. She was 75 years old. She retired from Center Point Energy after many years in the land department. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends as well as caring for her fur babies.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Jones; her parents, James I. Mangum and Lillie Mae Womack Mangum; her siblings, Luicille De Clark, James A. Mangum, Myrtle Castete, and Prentice Mangum.</p> <p>She is survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Roberts, Jeanette Wendt, Rev. Laurie A. Mangum, Anne White; her&nbsp;faithful friend, Virginia Timmons, and family; as well as many other family members and friends. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.</p>
