Beatrice Grace Hager

Beatrice Grace Hager, 97, of Forest, VA, died on Friday, August 13, 2021. She was the loving wife of Mr. Frank Hager for 63 years. Mrs. Hager was born on February 18, 1924, in Sayreville, NJ, the daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret Mills Rock. She retired from the Sayreville School system after 25 years of service. Mrs. Hager is survived by a daughter, Kathleen King and her husband, Richard of Forest, VA; a son Frank Hager, Jr. of Manchester, New Jersey, three grandchildren Angel Marie Torino and her husband Gustavo, Sabrina Iris Kroski and her husband, Stephan, and Kenneth Valentine Hager and his wife Rebecca, 6 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Irislea Koval. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sisters Margaret Cannon, Mary Ayres, Catherine Rojewski, and her brothers Patrick, Matthew, Edward, and Joseph Rock. Memorial service hours at the funeral home will be Saturday November 13, 2021 from 11am to 1pm at the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River N.J. with Pastor Glen Robinson officiating. Masks must be worn at all time inside the funeral home regardless of vaccination. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
