Margene Wheeler, 84, of Mulga, Alabama, went to be with the Lord September 9, 2021. She was a loving wife and mother and loved her beloved "Dickie" and her "My precious one" and will be missed by them always. She loved all animals, but especially cats. Her number one priority was to make a wonderful home for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ottie Guthrie. Margene is survived by husband, Richard Lawrence Wheeler, daughter, Bonnie Jean Wheeler; loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of Maytown Baptist Church. Visitation will be held September 12, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home in Adamsville, Alabama. Funeral service will be held September 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home, 5250 Veterans Memorial Drive, Adamsville, Alabama. Graveside services will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery, 1140 Warrior Road, Birmingham, Alabama 35218.
