Earl Ray Manuel, 69 of Pine Bluff Arkansas went home to be with the Lord September 7, 2021. He was born February 2, 1952 in White Hall, Arkansas to the late Earl Tillman Manuel and wife Catherine Francis Manuel, both of White Hall. Beginning with his longtime best friend and companion, Mary Lowery of Glenwood Arkansas, his brother John (Julie) Manuel of Houston, Texas, his daughter, Kim Phillips of Mt. Ida Arkansas, Kristi (Cliff) Rayburn of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, grandson Anthony Phillips of Memphis Tennessee, granddaughters Kristina Phillips of Memphis, Jordan Wilkerson of Monticello, and Johnna (Dekota) Carpenter of Crossett, Arkansas, great-grandchildren Ayden Phillips of Memphis, Tennessee, Gavynn Boothe of Monticello, Arkansas, Sawyer Wilkerson, and Dawson Fletcher, also of Monticello, Arkansas as well as his nieces and nephews and several cousins. He was also employed as a Ranch Hand in Picabo, Idaho before retiring and moving back to Pine Bluff with his best friend and companion for over 20 years, Mary Lowery. He was an avid swimmer and fisherman who loved anything to do with water, boats, beaches, and the outdoors. Earl’s Italian ancestry made him an amazing cook who loved experimenting in the kitchen and trying new things. His hobbies included cooking, swimming, fishing, collecting antiques, geode hunting, mining, restoring old cars, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was the kind of person who never met a stranger and was always willing to help those in need. His generous and soft spirit will be missed by many.

There will be a private memorial service to honor Earl and his memory held by the Lowery family at a later date.
