Lenie A Pitsenbarger Obituary

Lenie A. Pitsenbarger, 48, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. He was born March 26, 1973, in Sandusky. If you knew Lenie, you knew a man who loved the Lord and his family. He loved to help and bless anybody he could. If you had a need, Lenie was your guy! He would drop everything to be there to lend a helping hand. He was an overcomer, protector and the hardest working man you’d ever meet. Lenie wasn’t afraid to tell you like it was, but he also had the kindest heart and soul. He was a man who was seeking after God and was intentional about spending time with his wife, Lisa and their children. Lenie took joy and pride in helping his two young adult boys navigate life, offering advice or whatever else they needed. He was the happiest when he was with his family and loved taking his younger boys fishing, snuggling his “little Princess,” rough-housing with their rowdy toddler, or going for “Sunday drives” with his wife. Lenie and Lisa endured many trials and heartache over the years as well, but they were stronger together because of it. In May, shortly after their 12th anniversary, they renewed their vows in a private ceremony with their children present. “Lenie’s departure will always leave a hole in our hearts and not a day will go by the he is not greatly missed. Lenie, however would want us to be happy and rejoice that he is Home with his Savior Jesus, standing in awe of His presence.” Lenie was a previously a member of Lakeridge Church and was currently a member of Harvest Community Church in Willoughby Hills for 10 years. Prior to that, he had been a member of Prince of Peach Church in Mentor and member of Koinonia of Lake County and Kairos Prison Ministry. He worked as an independent contractor and had previously owned and operated Lenie’s Home Improvements. Lenie later moved into the garage door industry, where he was the City Manager of a local company. He loved “slinging” garage doors and took a lot of pride in his work. Lenie was the loving husband of 12 years to Lisa (nee Becka) Pitsenbarger; loving father of Matthew Becka, Jacob Becka, Noah Pitsenbarger, Samuel Pitsenbarger, Caleb Pitsenbarger, Elianna Pitsenbarger, and Daniel Pitsenbarger; dear son of Virginia Thompson of Sandusky; brother of Larry Boyer, Philip (Beth) Riggs, Sean Riggs, Selena (nee Riggs) Utley and Marti Rodman; and uncle of 13. He also leaves his “spiritual parents,” Mark and Marlene Moody, Rick and Rayna Amerine, all of Bloomington, Ind. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lenzie and Della Boyer; stepfather William “Randy” Thompson; and was greeted in Heaven by his six babies. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Harvest Community Church, 36400 Maplegrove Road, Willoughby Hills, with a memorial service to follow at 5 p.m. Pastor Randy Whitely will be the celebrant. Burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. Matthew 25: 23 His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.” Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
