Mr. Hershell Davis, of LaGrange, passed away on September 8, 2021. He was born on December 31, 1949 in LaGrange. He is preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Christine Pitts, and his step-father, George Harold Pitts. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Shirley Gaddy Davis; his children, Mark Hershell Davis (Sandra), Sabrina Ann Davis, and Christine Davis Parker (Lee); his aunts, Dorothy Thompson and Margaret Henderson; his grandchildren, Jake Lynch (Brittney), Cody Lynch, Tara Davis-Veal, Chandler Davis (Rebekah), Lucas Davis and Brittany Ridlen (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Brody, Bowen, Owen, Reece, and Micah. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they make their way through this very challenging time. The family will receive friends at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myahnd from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021. The funeral service will be held at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand at 10 am on Saturday. The committal service will immediately follow the funeral and will be held at Meadoway Gardens in LaGrange. Pastor Donald Yancey will officiate the service.
