Glenda Lambert Sibley Obituary

Glenda Lambert Sibley completed her journey and went home to meet her Lord on 9/7/2021.

Glenda was born in Seattle, Washington on November 18, 1942, to Irene and Bill Lambert (both deceased).  She had two brothers, Rick Lambert of Auburn, Washington, and Jon Lambert (deceased).  She was the loving wife of Burton Sibley, whom she married on April 28, 1983.  They shared a blended family of five children.  Daughter Jodi Rae, married to Randy Geering, and they live in Erie, Pennsylvania.  Daughter Michelle Gerald, married to Mark Gerald, and they live in Canal Winchester, Ohio.  Son Bob Rae, married to Terri Rae, and they live in Dallas, Oregon. Son Ryan Sibley lives in Auburn, Washington.  Son Scott Sibley is deceased.  Glenda and Burt have eight grandchildren (and one deceased grandson) and four great-grandchildren.

Glenda graduated from Chief Sealth High School in Seattle Washington, and City University in Bellevue Washington.  She was very proud of her career at Boeing for thirty years.  She finalized her career at Boeing in the Commercial Division, handling service contracts for the major airlines. One accomplishment that enriched her life was attending Fellowship International, which at that time was a five-year course of Bible Study.

Glenda and Burt moved to Sun City Grand in Surprise Arizona in November 1999.  They became members of Spirit of Grace Lutheran Church.  They were both very involved in many aspects of the church family, and Glenda became Church Secretary for several years.

Glenda and Burt traveled extensively, both in this country and abroad.  They loved to see new places and often collected art and keepsakes on their travels.  Glenda always had a love of art, either viewing or creating.  After retiring, Glenda spent much of her time creating her own art.  She learned to make jewelry and even learned to create her own glass beads for her jewelry.
