Irene (Armijo) Martinez, age 79, born in Anton Chico, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on August 30, 2021. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband, of fifty-eight years, Tony L. Martinez; Children, Stephanie Montoya and husband, Jeff, Veronica Mora and husband, Martin, Timothy Martinez and wife, Marie, Lenora Ramos and wife, Jesse; fifteen grandchildren; five, great-grandchildren; siblings, Yvonne Dickson and husband, Allen, Ramon Armijo and wife, Elaine, Martin Armijo, Bessie Duda. She was preceded in death by her mother, Erlinda Salgado, and grandmother, Pieda Chavez. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. A Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Father Patrick presiding. Interment will follow services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Mora, Derric Montoya, Zachary Montoya, Matthew Ortega, Mateo Martinez Isiah Martinez
