CORDELE – M. Imogene Nutt, 78, passed away early Thursday morning, Sept. 2, 2021 at the Crisp Regional Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, at Sandy Mount Cemetery. The family will receive friends starting at 1:30 p.m. before the service. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks are recommended and social distancing should be maintained. Mrs. Nutt was born in Rebecca, Ga. to the late Robert Lee Nutt and the late Sally Monteen Pate. She attended FISH Baptist Church in Pitts, Ga. Mrs. Nutt was also a wonderful homemaker where her love for her family was evident. She is survived by her children: Roger W. Nutt (Debbie) of Vienna, Ga., Darrell D. Nutt (Peggie) of Roanoke, Ala. and J. Nichole Gilliam (Keith) of Cordele; her brothers: Gary Nutt, Billy Nutt, and Jerry Nutt all of Turner County, Ga.; her sisters: Patricia Nutt Vaughn of Franklin, N.C., Mary Beasley, and Flora Moore both of Cordele; her grandchildren: Roger DeWayne Nutt, Kenneth Nutt, Emmy Gilliam and Bricen Gilliam; and nine great-grandchildren.
