Patricia V. "Miss Patsy" Morris

Patricia V. Morris, aged 92 years from Mechanicsburg, PA passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2021. She was born on September 12, 1928 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Armand and Viola Baumbach (Lyter). Also, preceding Patricia in death are her husband, William Sr., son William Jr., grandson Jared Mattern, and sisters Dottie, Janie and Winnie. Surviving are her loving daughters, Jill Morris, Tabatha (Barry) Mattern, nieces Cheryl Williams, her loving caregiver & her son Matthew, Nancy Williams & her children Amanda & Ashley, and their families. Also are grandchildren Brittany (Jack) Boyle & their children Carter and Lillian Patricia, and Alexis & her son Jalyn. Miss Patsy owned and operated the Patsy Morris School of Dance for 50 years, sharing her love and passion for dance with her many students. Miss Patsy also founded the Gymettes Gymnastics Team in 1971 and continued to coach youth gymnastics until she was well into her 80’s. Miss Patsy was gentle, kind, and a loving role model for all of her family and students.
