John Allenray Lejeune

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Church Point for John Allenray “Turkey” Lejeune, 68, who died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in Alexandria, LA. Rev. Berl Adams will officiate the funeral services and the burial will follow in the Our lady Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Friday. John was born March 7, 1953 in Church Point to Mitchell and Isabella Jagneaux Lejeune. John is survived by 3 daughters, Michelle Louviere and her husband Donnie Hanks of Church point, Mindy Bell Dupre of Glenmora, and Shana Breaux of Church Point; 1 son, Allen Mitchell Lejeune of Church Point; 1 brother, Terry Lejeune of Parks; 11 grandchildren, Crystal Faul, Brooke Louviere, Dawna Hanks, Allen Michael Lejeune, Emily Lejeune, Wendy Dupre, Kasey Dupre, Lacy Wiggins, Daven Breaux, Nicholas Breaux and Kaitlyn Breaux and 6 great grandchildren, Addison, Chloe, Lucas, Liam, Allister and sarah. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Raymond and Aaron Lejeune and 1 sister, Mary Comeaux.
