Craig “ Spike” “ Trooper ” Donald Guidry, 60, died on Monday August 23, 2021. He was a native of Des Allemands and a resident of Houma, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held in his honor Monday, September 20, 2021 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continuing Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 8:00 am until funeral time at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Rogers cemetery.
He is survived by his beloved wife Amanda LeBouef Guidry, daughter Michele Guidry; step-daughters Heather LeBouef and Jami Guidry; sister Sheila ( Tim ) Bryant; brother Randy ( Kathy )
Guidry; sister-in-law Diane D. Guidry; step-grandchildren Noah, Alba, and Rory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stella Matherne Guidry and Donald Ray Guidry; brother Carl “Butch” Guidry; maternal grandparents Hilmonde Matherne and Helen Dufrene Matherne; paternal grandparents Cleopha Guidry and Eula Duhon Guidry.
Trooper was a retired State Trooper from Louisiana State Police Troop B with 30 years of Law Enforcement Service. He lost his battle to cancer surrounded by family and friends.
