<p style="text-align: justify;"><em><strong><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Suzanne (Stubbs) Sommer, </span></span></strong></em><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">age 68, of Coon Rapids, formerly of Fridley, passed away on August 7, 2021 surrounded by family at home.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Suzanne was born to William and Harriet Stubbs on October 14, 1952 in Mulberry, Arkansas. She graduated from Fridley High School in 1970. She was married to John Sommer in 1976. They resided in Coon Rapids for 45 years.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, William Stubbs. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, John; three children, Amanda (Jeremy), Brooke (Jeff), and Jonathan; six grandchildren: Reagan, Sommer, Rowan, Emmett, Camden, and Leighton, who she loved more than life itself. She is also survived by her mother, Harriet; siblings, Marsha (Ed), Gary (Terri), and many sisters and brothers in-law on the Sommer side; nieces and nephews, and many close relatives and friends.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Suzanne was proud of her job as school secretary/nurse for Parkview Elementary. Throughout the years she had many part time jobs but none were more important than Mom and Grandma. Suzanne was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><font face="georgia, serif"><span style="font-size: 18px;">Visitation 10:00-11:30 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Fridley United Methodist. Suzanne (Stubbs) Sommer, age 68, of Coon Rapids, formerly of Fridley, passed away on August 7, 2021 surrounded by family at home.

Suzanne was born to William and Harriet Stubbs on October 14, 1952 in Mulberry, Arkansas. She graduated from Fridley High School in 1970. She was married to John Sommer in 1976. They resided in Coon Rapids for 45 years.
