Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Laurent Courville of Alexandria; of Lancaster; age 87 years. Beloved husband of Laurette Courville (née Brunet). Loving father of André Courville (Josée Renaud) of Ile-Perrot and Richard Courville (Julie Lévesque) of Vaudreuil-Dorion and grand father of Justine, Alexandre, Cédric and Marc-Antoine. Dear brother of Bruno Courville (late Barbara), Merilda Minty (late Reg) and Jeanne Talarico. Predeceased by his parents, Zotique (Zed) Courville and Beriza Leboeuf; as well as his sisters: Estelle Vincent (late Robert), Claire Dumouchel (Georges) and Lorraine McDonell (late Allan) and brothers: Laurier (late Bernadette), Claude (Jean) and Raymond (Millie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster, (613)-347-3529. In keeping with his family’s wishes there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Lancaster, on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. For those who wish, Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
