Virginia May Brenneman

Virginia May (Miller) Brenneman, 88, of Springs, PA, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at her residence. Born November 15, 1932, in Grantsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roy N. and Viola M. (Wiley) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Ray Brenneman; one grandson, Brian Maust; one sister, Leona Bender. Virginia accepted Christ at the age of 14. It was her lifelong desire that her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren know Christ and that they would all be with her in heaven someday. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Mennonite Church. Virginia attended Yoder School, EMS and Johnstown Mennonite School. She was also employed at Yoder’s Locker Plant, employed by Henry and Esther Yoder and in her late years at Cherry Glade Daycare where she was loved by all. She is survived by four sons, Richard Allen (Regina) Brenneman, Accident; Robert (Bonnie) Brenneman, York, SC; Dale (Shawnie) Brenneman and Bradley (Stephanie) Brenneman, all of Accident; six daughters, Glenda (Art) Maust, Springs, PA; Alice (Bob) Bender and Julia (Douglas) Bender, all of Accident; Marla (Wayne) Mast, Grantsville; Angela (Charles) Griffith, Accident; Faith (Kevin) Miller, Chambersburg, PA; one sister, Darlene Miller, Accident; 43 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Cherry Glade Mennonite Church, Accident, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the church on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Merlin Maust and Pastor Derrick Bender officiating. Interment will be in the Glade Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to In Touch Hospice, P.O. Box 1173, Somerset, PA 15501.
