Billy Mac Lytal was born in Wolfe City, Hunt County, Texas to Jesse Norman and Wanda Regina (Ingram) Lytal, on August 1, 1942. He moved to Hereford at a young age and attended Hereford Schools, graduating from Hereford High School in 1960. He was an active member and former Deacon and Elder for Central Church of Christ. His knowledge of the Bible and ability to recall scripture was a true gift. Billy was an avid guitar player and musician for most of his life. He was a member of the band Frio Trio while in High School and later in life, with the addition of a few more Musicians (including his daughter and niece), the band Texas Country. His legacy includes wife, of fifty-nine years, Sammie of Hereford, son Kyle and wife Michelle of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter Kristi and husband Robert of Hereford, grandchildren Ruarik, Miranda and Emma and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials in Mr. Lytal’s name be made to Central Church of Christ, 148 Sunset, Hereford, Texas 79045 or the Deaf Smith Humane Society, P.O. Box 2145, Hereford, Texas 79045.
