Richard "Rick" Jones, 61, of Deputy, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on August 30, 1959 in Scott County, Indiana, the son of the late Norman Jones and Barbara Jean (Price) Pruett. Rick was a material handler for Regal Industries in Crothersville, Indiana for 29 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, father and stepmother, Norman and Brenda Jones and mother and stepfather, Barbara and Bill Pruett. Survivors include his daughter, Natasha Cole of Scottsburg, Indiana; four brothers, Steve Jones of Lexington, Indiana, Darren (Alicia) Jones of Deputy, Indiana, Mike (Chrystal) Pruett of Deputy, Indiana, and Mark Pruett of Owensboro, Kentucky; five sisters, Beth (Jimmy) Shelton of Austin, Indiana, Susan Jones of Deputy, Indiana; Marty (Tracy) Neal of Scottsburg, Indiana, Angie (David) Beed of Franklin, Indiana, and Mary (Greg) Abplanalp of Commiskey, Indiana; three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Alexis, and Eldon; two great grandchildren; and thirteen nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Collins Family Center in Scottsburg, Indiana. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Rick Jones Tribute Fund to help with funeral expenses.
