Warren Frederick Pratt

It is with great sadness that the family of Warren Frederick Pratt, announces his sudden passing, at the age of 46, on Saturday July 24, 2021. Warren was born March 3, 1975, in Edmonton, AB, moving with his family to Ottawa in 1980. He was always active and engaged from a young age, involved in piano and multiple sports including curling and volleyball. He excelled at diving, competing internationally while attending Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC, prior to pursuing a career with Health Canada, Natural Health Products Division. By far his favourite activity was spending time with friends, there are many fond memories of his time life guarding at Long Island Camp, travelling the world and relaxing in the backyard. Warren is survived by his mom and dad, Lynn and Fred Pratt; his sister Gillian; and brother Stephen (Christina Chénard). He is loved and missed by his niece and nephew, Annika and Xavier; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He had a warm and wonderful presence to all who knew him. He had a positive outlook and gave the warmest bearhug. A COVID-compliant Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday August 4, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Warren’s memory may be made to: Canadian Mental Health Association, National to 500-250 Dundas St W, Toronto ON, M5T 2Z5.
