Laura Jean Taylor 73 of Sun City AZ passed away peacefully at home Saturday July 24, 2021. Laura was born May 19, 1948 to Robert L. Williams and Gladys E. (Haney) Williams. Laura married Frederick D. Taylor Sr. August 20 1966, the couple resided in Remsen where they raised their two children. Laura and Fred owned Taylor’s Trackside Bar/Restaurant for 10 years where she fulfilled her love of cooking and baking, in that short time they made several lifelong friends. In February 2012 Laura and Fred moved to Sun City AZ. where she took up jewelry making and crafting Laura and Fred also looked forward to family visits. Laura enjoyed getting her nails done, playing bingo, putting puzzles together, driving her golf cart and going to the casino with her cherished friend Monique Berube. Laura was known for her love of candy specifically those darn circus peanuts and the beauty of hummingbirds and most of all Laura had so much compassion toward people, she always knew the right things to say. Laura is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, daughter Sherry Taylor, son Frederick D. (Heather) Taylor Jr. her grandchildren Devin (Lacey Carino) Delaney, Valeri (Dillon) Bradley, Caryne (Dalton Sheppard) Delaney, Cortney (Austin Marino) Taylor, Eric Clark, and Jayde Hammill, great grandchildren Tegan, Levi, Luke, Jaxon, Everleigh and Violet brothers James (Susan) Williams, William Williams, Raymond (Anne) Williams. Several in-laws, nieces and nephews. The family is honoring Laura’s request of no calling hours. There will be a graveside memorial at a later date.
