<p>Barbara A. Gibson<br /> April 25, 1933 &ndash; July 27, 2021</p> <p>Barbara passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 after a brief illness.&nbsp; Born April 25, 1933 in Hale, MO to Porter and Ilavee Clute, she was one of three daughters.&nbsp; She married Richard L. Gibson on June 5, 1951, and they had three children: Beverly (Jerry) Shepherd, Richard L. Jr. (Patricia), and Kevin (Cyndi). As well as 4 grandchildren: Linette, Patrick, Elizabeth, and Nicholas and 5 great-grandchildren: Alexander, Alyssa, Lydia, Joe, and Blake.</p> <p>Barbara is survived by on sister Nadine (Darrell Lemoss).&nbsp; She was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church.&nbsp; She was very active there.&nbsp; She was also a member of the Eastern Star and Pink Ladies for 25 years.</p> <p>Along with her husband Richard, she was preceded in death by their son Kevin, her parents, and sister Wanda Lou.</p> <p>Visitation will be held from 1pm &ndash; 2pm on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.&nbsp; A short service will follow at the chapel at Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Logansport, Indiana with Father Adam Mauman officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow.</p> <p>The family would like to thank the staff at Blair Ridge for their excellent care.</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to the YMCA Transit program</p> <p>Arrangements have been entrusted to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.&nbsp; Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.FlowersLeedyAllen.com.</p>

Barbara A. Gibson
April 25, 1933 – July 27, 2021

Barbara passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 after a brief illness.  Born April 25, 1933 in Hale, MO to Porter and Ilavee Clute, she was one of three daughters.  She married Richard L.
