Eddie Turner age 68 of Lenoir City passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Eddie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked at Presstige Printers. He served as ACT President at the Bridge in Rockwood for 2 terms. Eddie loved playing checkers and bowling and was very competitive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orangie and Geneva ; grandparents, Nathaniel and Vina Williams, Ed and Nancy Louisa Turner. Survived by his sister, Nancy Turner Wilson of Knoxville; brothers: Dan Turner of Wisconsin, David Turner, Tim Turner (Sarah) all of Georgia, and Tommy Turner of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 6th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Memorial services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Joseph McGaha officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 7th at the Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
