Lillian E. Long, 87, of Lehighton passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lehighton. She was the wife of the late John W. E. Long Sr., who died in 2008. Born in Kresgeville, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Irene (Schoenberger) Strohl. Lillian worked as a sewing machine operator for the former Scotty’s Fashions in Lehighton for many years. She was of Lutheran faith. Lillian was a former member of the Lehighton American Legion Post 314 Auxiliary and loved playing bingo. She is survived by her Children, John W. E. Jr. husband of Paula of AZ and Lori Ann Smith of Lehighton; Grandchildren, Tionne, Dakota, Sarah, and David; Great-Grandchildren, Auriella, Jason, Johnny, Carissa, David Jr., and Shelby; 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Harold; Sisters, Edna, Helen, Shirley and Minerva and Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Kenneth. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 2nd at 11AM at Dinkey Memorial Cemetery Dinkey Road Ashfield, PA.
