<p>Jesus Manuel Lopez Sr. (Chuma, Popo, Grandpo, Abuelito), was born on December 18th,1937 in El Porvenir Chihuahua Mexico to Primitio Lopez and Sara Chacon Lopez. His parents proceed him in death along with his brothers and sisters: Ramon Canaba, Enrique Canaba, Maria de Jesus Ortega, Juan Lopez and Rosa Olivas.</p> <p>He was married to the love of his life, Maria Alicia Lopez Rubio for thirty-three years until her passing in January 1998. He is survived by their six children: daughter, Marina and husband Alfonso Perez; daughter, Sandra and husband Monty Mince; son, Jesus M. Lopez Jr.; son, Israel and wife Lori Lopez; son, Jorge Lopez and wife Melissa Alverez-Lopez; son, Humberto (Beto) and wife Bernadette Lopez. Siblings: Jose Lopez, Soccoro Lopez, Julian Lopez, Imelda Lara. Grandchildren: Jasmine and husband Felipe Ortiz, Kevin Perez, Kobe Perez, Jacob Mince, Alyssa Mince, Brianna Bolanos, Courtney and husband Albert Padilla, Nathan Bartlett, Jace Lopez, Desiree Sosa, Mathew Lopez, Christopher Lopez, Justin and wife Katey Jessup, Katherine Lopez, Ardo Lopez, Skylair Lopez and Kaden Lopez. Great Grandchildren; Zoey, Jaina, Leia and Nomi Sosa, Kalani Lopez, Jaxon and Ellie Padilla, Noelle and Kruz Navarrete and Ezio Lopez.</p> <p>Jesus was a stubborn man who enjoyed collecting all things, always had the right tool even if we didn&rsquo;t need it. He enjoyed keeping his culture alive, eating at Los Novios for his weekend manudo, caring for others no matter the situation and cruising main to hold up the traffic. We are grateful for the long journey he made to create the opportunity for his wife and children to become successful. He worked hard and was dedicated to teaching the values of discipline, respect and to always have the last word! Jesus took the knowledge gained from serving in the Mexican Military to drive his family to have strong work ethic. He also worked at Glovers and Longhorn for many years where he developed many friendships that will be cherished forever.</p> <p>Pallbearers are Mathew Lopez, Jacob Mince, Ardo Lopez, Kevin Perez, Justin Jessup and Jace Lopez. Honorary pallbearers are all grandchildren and great grandchildren.</p> <p>Visitation for Jesus will be from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, July 30, 2021, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel with recitation of the rosary at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 AM, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. &nbsp;</p> <p>A special thanks to the caregivers at Mission Arch who cared so deeply for our father, you know who you are, we will forever be grateful.</p>
