Bill J. Burnstein of Peoria born November 3, 1946, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away July 24, 2021 at home. He was born in Chicago, IL and was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Bill moved to Arizona in 1964 and helped his father start their family business Glendale Iron & Metal, followed by Glendale Steel Supply. Twenty years ago, Bill started his own successful business, Valley Steel Supply. Bill served in the Army which included a tour in Viet Nam. Bill is survived by his wife, Debra; two children Brent Burnstein, Traci Smith and her husband, David Smith; and five grandchildren Michael, Tyler and Rylan Burnstein; Cannon and Aniston Smith. On Saturday, July 31, 2021, visitation will be held 9:30-11:00 am, followed by services at 11:00 am. Both will be at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers in memory of Bill to: Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer Research, 415 Crossways Park Dr., Ste. D, Woodbury, NY 11797 (516) 737-1550.
