Mary Evangeline Bain (Crosby)- 93, passed away July 25, 2021 at the Meadows.

Mary wife of Alester for 72 years was a quiet, gentle soul who taught her children Doris (Eric), Benny (Doris) and Glenn (Mandy) the importance of family time by encouraging them to spend Sunday suppers together which she prepared at her house for many years.

Family gatherings were always extra special when her brother and sister in law the late Ronnie and late Queenie Crosby joined as well. Tanya (Mark), Jeff (Amy) and Patten will always remember Nannie for the kind, caring person she was, who made the best homemade donuts and peanut butter cookies. Nannie loved cooking and knitting for us all and was a proud lifetime member of the Hebron Hospital Auxiliary.

She touched the lives of her three great grandsons Kirby (Mackenzie), Cameron, and Michael, offering hugs, smiles and kindness each time they visited.

Nannie also welcomed all the step grandchildren into our family and enjoyed family times with everyone together.

In memory of Mom/Nannie please bring flowers to someone special in your life, as she always loved when we did that for her.

We, her family wish to thank all of the staff at the Meadows who became her wonderful extended family for the past 7 years. Your kindness, caring and compassion will always be remembered.
