<p>Sharon Lea (Holm) Dockter, age 81, a lifelong resident of Cannon Falls, passed away on Friday evening, July 23, 2021 at Three Links Care Center in Northfield.</p> <p>Sharon was born at home in Cannon Falls on March 29, 1940, the daughter of Virgil and Rosella (Rapp) Holm. She graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1958. During her high school years, she worked downtown at the Sweet Shop where she met Jack.</p> <p>She married Jacob &ldquo;Jack&rdquo; Dockter on April 9, 1960 at St. Ansgar&rsquo;s Lutheran Church.&nbsp; She worked for many years as a seamstress for Kid Duds until retiring, and she then worked at Midwest Importers. She enjoyed her many friendships made over the years! She loved playing cards with family and friends, quilting group at St. Ansgar&rsquo;s, bowling, doing puzzles, and getting together with aunts, uncles, and cousins for monthly coffee parties. She was a great supporter of her grandchildren and went to all of their events, including ballgames and concerts.</p> <p>Sharon will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, her rice krispie bars, her date bars, and her mending and ironing.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-law; husband, Jack; infant son, Jamie; son, Scott; sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Jerry Erickson; brothers-in-law, Donald Dockter and Jack Holt; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Long.</p> <p>She is survived by her children, Christine (Tony) Busiahn and Jeffrey (Valerie) Dockter; grandchildren, Samantha and Alison Dockter, Michelle (Tyler) Hoffman, Abby (Justin) Regenscheid, Leah (DJ) Buck, Patrick Dougherty (Ellie Linehan), Zachary Dockter, Richie and Madison Busiahn; great grandsons, Parker and Grayson Buck, and Riley Regenscheid; sisters, Eleanor Holt and Janet (Larry) Provost; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Chuck Long, Jerry and Gail Dockter, Pamela and Greg Moeller, Pat Magnuson, Ron Magnuson, and Doug Dockter; aunt, Doris Rapp; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p> <p>Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27 from 4-7 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 28 at 11 am, with visitation from 10-11 am, at St. Ansgar&rsquo;s Lutheran Church, Cannon Falls. Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery.</p> <p>Active pallbearers will be Patrick Dougherty, Zachary Dockter, Richie Busiahn, Tyler Hoffman, Justin Regenscheid, and DJ Buck. Honorary pallbearers will be Alison Dockter, Michelle Hoffman, Abby Regenscheid, Leah Buck, Madison Busiahn, Parker and Grayson Buck, and Riley Regenscheid.</p> <p>Memorials are preferred to Brighton Hospice or donor&rsquo;s choice.</p> <div class="embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="embed-responsive-item" frameborder="0" mozallowfullscreen="" scrolling="no" src="https://portal.midweststreams.com/services/iframe/21971" webkitallowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>

Sharon Lea (Holm) Dockter, age 81, a lifelong resident of Cannon Falls, passed away on Friday evening, July 23, 2021 at Three Links Care Center in Northfield.
