David Allen Cole, 78, of Martinsburg passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his home. Born October 3, 1942 in Martinsburg he was the son of the late Raymond Cole and Betty Murphy Anderson. David served in the US Airforce. He was a supervisor at Dupont and Kraft Foods. He was an active member of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church and Bethel Assembly of God Church Royal Rangers. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Palmer of Martinsburg; two sons, Craig and wife, Cammie of Augusta, and Steven and wife, Vanessa of Romney; ten grandchildren, Tiffanee Siford, Michael Siford, Jamie Cole, Kiara Anderson and husband, Jacob, Destiny Cole, Noah Cole, Serenity Cole, Sierra Cole, and Brooke Cole; two great grandchildren, Rayven Engleman and Kalib Simon; six sisters, Lois Spies and husband, Wayne of Hedgesville, Carol Cook of Martinsburg, Brenda Woodsmall and husband, Woody of Summersville, SC, Janet Witmore and husband, Mike of Ranson, Becky Aikens and husband, Bill of Falling Waters, and Karen Oliver and husband, Jeff of NC; and a brother, William Anderson and wife, Gail of Martinsburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Cole; and two sisters, Jeanie King, and Dorothy Anderson. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be private.
