Dorothy Valentine Hall Norris, age 86, of the Straight Fork Community, departed this life on Friday, July 23, 2021, at her home in Huntsville, Tennessee. She was born February 14, 1935 in Campbell County to the late Calvin Jason Prewitt and Alice Mae Powers Prewitt. She was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Monroe Hall; son, Carson Hall; grandparents, Joe Powers and Lillie York Powers, Wesley Prewitt and by marriage, Jimmy Norris and Maryanne Norris and a grandchild, Chloe Norris. She is survived by her husband Oscar E. Norris of the Straight Fork Community; children, Juanita Holbert Lewis and husband, Donald, of Sumner, Washington, Carson’s wife, Billie Lemar Morgan Hall of Kentucky, Calvin Eric Hall of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; children by marriage, Larry Norris and wife, Charlotte, and children, Pearlie Morrell and daughters, Steve Norris and wife, Nelda and son, Ricky Norris, George Norris and wife, Alice and children, David Norris and wife, Etta and children, Danny Norris and wife, Andrea and children, Charles Jeffers and wife, Sue and children; twenty-nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00PM until time of the funeral services at 7:00PM, Monday, July 26, 2021, at the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville, Tennessee, with Bro. Larry Sexton and Bro. Gary Crabtree officiating. Music will be provided by Leighann Morrell, Tabitha Washam and Emily Lowe. Graveside services will be at 11:00AM at Campbell County Memorial Gardens, in Lafollette, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
