Jerrod Lane Stalvey, 6 of Sparks passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. Lane was born September 8, 2014 in Tifton, GA. He enjoyed being outside, hunting and fishing. Lane liked playing with his hot wheels, and playing baseball. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike in the yard and when a car would come by he would try to race the car. Lane would dress up in his spiderman costume and pretend he could conquer the world. He loved animals, he just had a big heart.

Survivors include his parents, Jerrod and Christi Stalvey of Sparks; brothers, Dawson Stalvey of Sparks, and Conner Stalvey of Sparks; sisters, Skyler Cason of Sparks, and Kensie Cason of Sparks; maternal grandparents, “Meme” Peggy Williams of West Berrien; “Grandpa” Chip Carter of Sparks; great grandparents, Louise Williams of West Berrien, and Anne & Ed Carter of Florida; step grandfather, “Papa” Rusty Barnes of Sparks; paternal grandparents, “Papa David” & “Nana Cindy” Ashley of Adel; great grandmother, “Mema” Laquetta Conner of Sparks; Aunt Step & Uncle Alley Danforth of Sparks, Aunt Jodi Ashley of Adel, Aunt Holly & Uncle Joseph Harnage of Lakeland, and Uncle Jason Brady of Sparks; cousins, Mason Danforth of Sparks, Kamden Danforth of Sparks, Nicholas Harris of Adel, Nathan Harris of Adel, Kandler Pearson of Lakeland, Sean – David Pearson of Lakeland, Gracie Harnage of Lakeland, Presley Harnage of Lakeland, Christian Fender of Lakeland, Caleb Fender of Lakeland, and Bella Fender of Lakeland.  Lane was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Preston Williams; and Uncle Mason Fender.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. William Davis, Rev. Don Williams, and Rev. Brad McVea officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
