<p>BETTY LOUISE GRANDISON</p> <p>Betty Louise Grandison, age 93, of Uhrichsville, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her residence, O., following a lengthy illness.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Born on January 14, 1928 in Wainwright, Betty is the daughter of the late Allen and Alta (Lorenz) Parker.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In 1945, Betty graduated from New Philadelphia High School.&nbsp; She was employed as a cashier at Gooding&rsquo;s IGA and a housekeeper at Twin City Hospital.&nbsp; Betty also volunteered at the Coffee Bar at Twin City Hospital.&nbsp; She enjoyed bowling, going out to eat and donating her time at Grace United Methodist Church, where she was a member.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband Robert Dale Grandison, who passed away December 12, 1999; and her son Robert A. Grandison, who passed away February 24, 2021 and four sisters and one brother.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Betty is survived by her daughter Brenda J. Halter; grandchildren Phil Grandison, Missy (Shawn) Ciekanski, Courtney (Don Wright) Halter, Cody (Jessica) Halter, Brett Grandison, Cory (Kym Cline) Halter and Ashley (Shane) Fiester; great grandchildren Jonathan Grandison, McKenzie Edwards, Logan Murphy, Taylor Grandison, Cayden Ciekanski, Kyden Fiester and Elliot Halter; daughter-in-law Kelly Grandison; special niece Linda Cromley; special friend Bob Milligan and longtime friend Audrey Rectanus.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral services for Betty will be held at 1p.m., on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. in Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Aaron Linard officiating.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m., on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the funeral home.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Betty was most kind, caring and loving and certainly special to all who knew her.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The family would like to express their gratitude to her caregivers from Community Hospice, Heidi, Megan and Tamara.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 716 Commercial Ave., SW, New Philadelphia, O., 44663.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Masks are recommended, due to the increased number of COVID cases.</p>

I love Betty. Her and my mom were friends for years. Betty was my Sunday school teacher. She was a great lady and will be greatly missed.

Thoughts & prayers with you all,Betty was one of the Sweetest ladies I have known her for alot of years,she always had a smile at IGA ,hospital or wherever you saw her .R.I.P. Betty your with Dale he was a great guy too.

Betty was my Sunday School Teacher at Grace Church..She worked with my Mom at Trinity Twin City Hospital also..She was a soft spoken woman who served God..Loved her family ..She will be missed by so many..
