Mr. Rayburn Benson Morris, age 80, of Decatur, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at River City Center.  No public service is scheduled at this time.  Shelton Funeral Home is assisting his family with arrangements.

Mr. Morris was born November 25, 1940, in Oak Ridge, AL, to Willis Earl Morris, Sr. and Mary Allie Harvel Morris.  

He is survived by three nephews, Robert (Konnye) of Decatur, Ronnie (Anita) of Fayette, and Edward of Addison; three nieces, Peggy of Hartselle, Patsy of Oak Ridge, and Nelda of Birmingham; two first cousins, Linda (Tommy) and Charles, both of Nashville; great-nephews/nieces, John Michael and several others.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
