John Bush
John Bush, age 91 of Lost Creek, Kentucky, departed this earthly life Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Greg and Noreen Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. John was born on June 23, 1930 to the late Abbie Bush and Sermantha Henson Bush. He was a logger. He is survived by three sons, Johnny (Linda) Bush Jr., of Whick, Kentucky, Willie (Melissa) Bush of Morgan County, Kentucky, and Greg (Becky) Bush of War Creek, Kentucky; four daughters, Jean (Larry) Strong of Whick, Kentucky, Phyllis (Carl) Bush of Whick, Kentucky, Lena Shouse of Lost Creek, Kentucky, and Sandra (Johnny) Nash of Kirbyville, Texas; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; a special friend, neighbor, and caregiver Barbara Sue Mullins of River Caney, Kentucky; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Abbie and Sermantha Henson Bush, he was preceded in death by four children, Green Bush, Sermantha Taylor, Abbie Bush, and Anthony Bush; one granddaughter, Ravin Raleigh; one brother, Lewis Bush; and three sisters, Lou Creasie Robinson, Alpha Haddix, and Louvenia Bush. Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 AM on Sunday, July 25, 2021 with Danny White officiating. John will be laid to rest in the Bush Cemetery at River Caney, Kentucky with Wayne Strong, Ryan Bush , Jared Neace, Brendon Bush, Gary Raleigh, and Carl David Mullins serving as Pallbearers.
