Sumter, SC …….. Stephen Knotts Tatro, age 70, beloved husband of 46 years to Sandra Hildreth Tatro, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at NHC Sumter.

Born in Wadesboro, NC, he was the son of the late George Tatro and Mildreth Knotts Tatro.  Stephen was a member of the US Army and served his country proudly in the Vietnam war.  He will be remembered as a very loving husband, father and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by: a son, Stephen Jason Tatro of Monroe, NC; a daughter, Amanda Lea Tatro of Monroe, NC; four brothers, Nelson Tatro, Robert Tatro, Paul Tatro and David Tatro and one sister, Beverly Tatro.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Tatro.
