Jewell Ray, better known as “Gun” York, 68 of the Union Camp Community in Macon County, TN passed away Wednesday evening, July 21, 2021 at his residence.   Jewell Ray is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Jewell Ray “Gun” York will be conducted Saturday morning, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Tim White officiating.  Interment will follow in the Whitley Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday afternoon 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.  and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.

He is survived by: son, Jewell Ray York, Jr. of Lafayette; daughters, Krista Hopkins of Virginia & Tena Bontragermast of Indiana; grandson, Holden Cayle York; brothers & sister-in-law, Gary Joe & Evie York, Sammie Joe Atkins all of Red Boiling Springs, TN; sister & brother-in-law, Becky & Chris Hix of Lafayette.
