Brenda Fay Hudson
<p>Brenda Fay Hudson was born on November 1, 1956, in Clanton, Alabama to the late </p><p>Samuel E. Lykes and Mary Louise Lawson of Clanton, Alabama. </p><p>Brenda accepted Christ. She was a member of West End Church of Christ of Clanton, Alabama. </p><p>She left Clanton shortly after graduating from Chilton County High School and moved to </p><p>Brooklyn, New York. She eventually joined her family in Detroit, Michigan and then returned </p><p>to Clanton in 1997 where she reunited with and married her high school sweetheart, James </p><p>Carl Hudson, Sr., in January 2000. James Hudson preceded her in death along with five siblings, </p><p>Wanda Gail, Jerry Wayne Lykes, Jimmy, Cecil, and Katy Louise Lawson. </p><p>She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving mother, Mary Louise Lawson; four daughters, </p><p>LaToya (Rodney) Bolden, Tierra Lykes, Tomesea Lykes, and Courtney (Justin) Poole; </p><p>stepchildren, Trydaniel Pearson, Lamekia (Juan) Wilson, James C. Hudson, Jr., Kaneria Hudson, and Maurice Simon; Seven siblings, Elder Jesse E. Lykes, Sr., Monica Lykes, Roscoe (Patricia) Morrow, Luvertha Morrow,</p><p>Willie Lawson, Willodean Jenkins, and Clifton Lykes; stepsisters and brothers, Abigail (Curtis) </p><p>McCall, Washeena, Varline, Kerry, Angela, and Rachel Lykes, Antoinette (Darius) Mitchell, Terrell </p><p>(Jennifer) Lykes, and Derrell (Wendi) Lykes; her sisters/friends, Benita Cook of Montgomery, </p><p>AL, Brenda Tinsley and Jacqueline Higgins, both of Clanton, AL; eight grandchildren; two </p><p>great-grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.</p>November 1, 1956 - July 21, 202111/01/195607/21/2021
