Charlotte Ann Davis Futrell, age 76, of Benton, formerly of Little Cypress, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at her residence. Charlotte was born in Calvert City on June 6, 1945 to the late Richard E. and Susie Smith Davis. She was of the Christian faith. Charlotte took amazing pride in her home and loved to garden, work in her yard and clean whenever possible. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put others first. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Franklin D. Jim Futrell, of Benton; two daughters, Vanessa (Tracy) Stevens of Moors Camp and Chris (Craig) Fortenbery of Benton; one son-in-law, Gene Welch of Benton; one sister, Jeanette Downing of Klamath Falls, Oregon; five grandchildren, Katie (Gary) Dziuk of Bells, Tennessee, Ali (Steffin) Beasley of Benton, Amelia Stevens of Moors Camp, Seth (Ashley) Fortenbery of New Jersey and Zach (Katelyn) Fortenbery of Somerset, Kentucky; two great-grandchildren, Beckham and Bowen Beasley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rachel Welch; one sister, Mildred Eichler; four brothers, Irvin Davis, Thomas Davis, Jackie Davis and Billy Davis; and her parents. The family would love to extend a special thank you to Charlotte’s caregiver and friend, Dana Lester. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Zion’s Cause Baptist Church in Benton with Bro. Charles Frazier. Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr is in Charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the service time of 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Zion’s Cause Baptist church.
