Christa Marie Ranchie, 42, of Willard, Missouri, passed into Heaven July 7, 2021, in Springfield Missouri. Christa was born in Dumas, Texas, to Earnest Leon Baker and Merry Cecelia (Richardson) Baker on April 17, 1979. She attended Willard High School and graduated in 1997. Christa went to Central Bible College, in Springfield, for two years before dropping out to help her sister take care of their disabled mother. Christa married the LOVE of her life, David Andrew Ranchie of Willard, on June 17,2005. Christa was a very loving and devoted family Lady. She always had a smile for everyone no matter how bad she felt that day or how much pain she was in. She always lit up the room when she walked in with her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh. You just couldn't help but be in a good mood when she was around (she didn't give you a choice). Christa will be dearly missed by all of us who loved and knew her!! Christa was preceded in death by her mother, Merry Cecelia (Richardson) Baker, from Walnut Grove; her grandfather, John Darrel Richardson “Pop”, from Buffalo; grandmother, Rose Marie Richardson “Jessie Dodd”, from Eudora; and her cousin, Douglas Wayne Richardson, from Buffalo. She is survived by her husband, David and cat babies Boo-Boo, Cecel, and Samantha “Sister” of Willard; her sister, Stephanie Grayson and her husband, Ed of Walnut Grove; her father, Leon Baker of Bloomfield, New Mexico; second mother, Shirley Ranchie of Willard; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
