Herbert Thomas Rylander

<p>Herbert Thomas Rylander was born April 15, 1944 to Herbert A. Rylander and Mary Ruth (Huey) Rylander in Philadelphia, PA. He was then raised and greatly loved by his grandparents and aunts, Agnes and Addie Delaney. Herbert dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and his love for Christ grew from there. Upon graduating high school Herbert a ectionately known as &ldquo;Syd&rdquo; join the United States Army in 1961 where he served faithfully as a soldier. Herbert met, fell in love with and married Amalia (Blanco) Rylander on a crisp winter day, december 10, 1977.  ey loved one another for 47 blessed years. From their union came Christianne Joy (Rylander) Deshields, their only but greatly cherished daughter. From the  rst day she took a breath until his last they were two peas in a pod. Herbert&rsquo;s greatest honor was serving the King of Kings, Jesus Christ. In 1980, Herbert and Amalia graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center as pastor and missionary. Two years later, they obeyed the leading of the Holy Spirit and founded Shiloh Christian Church in Hartford, C T.  ey touched many lives and led many to Christ through the powerful moving of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Paul and Donna Hylton now faithfully pastors Shiloh Chrstian Church, Middletown. Later in life, Herbert and Amalia relocated to Carpentersville, Illinois to be closer to their daughter Christianne and her family. Dad loved to spend time with his grandchildren, cook meals for the family and also served as a faithful member/pastor at Kingdom Culture Ministries under the leadership of his son in love, richard deshields. Herbert was a dedicated employee at Walmart in Crystal Lake, I L. He absolutely loved his position as a door greeter. He was well known for his radiant smile, kind words and encouraging words he spoke to everyone. His walmart family has expressed their tremendous sadness. Herbert leaves to cherish his memory his wife Amalia, daughter Christianne Joy (Richard), grandchildren: Leah, Gabriel, Whitney, Richard Jr., Caleb and Joshua. Great- grandchildren: Royal, Angel and Naomi. His mentees, especially Bean Mathena, his loving daughters in love Danielle and Priscilla and his extended family through marriage. Gone but never forgotten Beloved husband, loving father and faithful friend</p>
