David Eric Phillips

David Eric Phillips, 53, of Vinton, went home on Sunday, July 18, 2021. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Chris Roberts; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Stephanie Phillips; five grandchildren, Dixie, Skylar, Autumn, Cooper, and Taylee; mother, Anise Keen; sister, Audrey Meredith; and beloved pet, Buster. He is also survived by his aunt, Mary Lisa and aunt, Carolyn; along with a host of many other family members and friends. He loved his children, grandchildren and Buster boy indescribably. If you were in need he would give the shirt off his back to help. Truck driving was his absolute loved profession. He could fix anything and was definitely a jack of all trades. If he wasn’t working on a new project, he spent his days riding his Harley and with his family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Oakey’s East Chapel. Interment will follow in Moore-Bain Cemetery on Bradshaw Road in Roanoke County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
