Elijah J. Page Obituary

Elijah Jeremiah Page was born in Bridgeport, CT on August 30, 2003, to Terilynn Littleberry and Kenneth F. Page Sr. His arrival was greatly anticipated as he chose to enter the world 3 weeks early. At that moment, his mother knew that Elijah would take center stage in life. He was a recent graduate of Fairchild Wheeler High School, where he studied to be an information technician. He had plans to attend Naugatuck Valley Community College and go on to be an auto mechanic technician. Eli was a kind-hearted person who enjoyed life, basketball, music and cars. He had a contagious smile that lit up each room he entered. To know him was to love him. Elijah expressed his love for music by making beats with his friend, Marvin. Although he was only 17, he carried a great deal of wisdom. Many often looked to him for advice or regarded him as a brother. Eli was very compassionate, always willing to help and loved children. His sister Ashley says she will remember him for giving the best hugs. In 2018, Elijah was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and underwent two brain surgeries. Elijah was a hard worker and returned to school 20 days post-surgery. Looking to make his way back onto the basketball court, Eli practiced his shots by dunking on his younger brother, Manny. He often celebrated by placing Manny in a headlock and yelling, “Say I’m big bro!” Elijah played in AAU with the New England Players as number 15. His favorite team was the Lakers, while his favorite player was Russell Westbrook. He could be found snacking on hot Cheetos, large amounts of gum or Skittles. He enjoyed candles and to smell good. He always made everyone laugh. The most important detail of his life was that he knew and loved Jesus Christ. Weeks before his passing he inquired about the armor of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Eli listened intently as his mother explained each symbolic piece. He enjoyed listening to Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbett and his all-time favorite, Ricky Dillard. Elijah was surrounded by so much love. He really loved his family and we genuinely loved him, but God loved him most. Elijah was called to rest on July 14, 2021. Elijah is predeceased by his brother Kenneth Page Jr. and maternal grandfather Edward Carpenter Jr. He leaves to cherish his mother, Terilynn Littleberry and father, Kenneth F. Page Sr. Sisters Ashley Service, Charity Page, Melanie Page, Tatania Page and brother Emmanual Page. Maternal grandmother, Jean Littleberry and aunt, Evangelist Helen Littleberry. Paternal grandmother, Annie Page and girlfriend, Rakeria Thomas. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Friday July 23, 2021 at 11a.m at Free Methodist Church, 130 Gregory Street, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Family and friends may view at the church at 10a.m until time of service. Interment will be held in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
