Lance James Gray Nachtsheim, 64, of Snow Camp, NC passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 after a six month battle with cancer at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro.

Lance served six years in the United States Navy followed by a long career in the restaurant industry; which included being a Sous Chef at several restaurants. He had been enjoying a second career at the Home Depot. He loved reading and playing video games. Many would say that he was “one of a kind” and “there will be no one like him”.

The family will celebrate his life in private.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Denise Nachtsheim; sons, Robert Nachtsheim, Kyle Nachtsheim, and Eric Nachtsheim; and mother-in-law, Naomi Vaughn.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Dunn; father, Thomas Nachtsheim; and brother, Mark Nachtsheim.
