Mrs. Teresa (Schimmer) Burnette of Beedeville, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the age of 69. She was born May 11, 1962 in Holly Grove, California, the daughter of Daniel and Bonnie Schimmer. Mrs. Burnette was a homemaker, and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching television. Mrs. Burnette was a talented artist, who loved to draw and sketch. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Burnette is survived by her husband, David Burnette, Sr., of the home; one son, Daniel Pimentel and wife, Crystal of Fisher; two step-sons, David Burnette, Jr., and wife, Melanie of Wynne, and Justin Burnette of St. Peters, Missouri; three grandchildren, Benton Pimentel, Whitney Burnette, and Lilly Sloan; one brother, Mark Schimmer of California; one sister, Tammy Chesonis of California; and a lifetime of friends. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Eightmile Cemetery. Family viewing will be prior to service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles Jacobs, Jeremy Glass, Heath Hewitt, Doug Dawson, Brandon Barker, and James Perkins. Arrangements by Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home.
