Presque Isle: G. David Wheaton 81, fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday July 17, 2021 at his home in Presque Isle. He was born April 3, 1940 in East Millinocket. The son of George and Inza (Davis) Wheaton, Dave was born a natural problem solver, he often lent advice to anyone that he knew. A true handyman, he would come to the aid of others when they may have been in over their heads. Dave was a kind and compassionate friend to all. He finally found home, peace, and family in The County, where he lived for 31 years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Olive (Daniels) Wheaton of Presque Isle, a son David Wheaton and his wife Susan of Ellsworth, a daughter Sarah Wheaton of Harwich, MA, a granddaughter Lindsy, and great grandchildren Dawson and Mischa of Ellsworth, brothers Gary of Otis and James of Lincoln, and a church family at State Road Advent Christian Church. He was predeceased by a sister, Myrna Murchison. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date.
