It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Winnie Wanjiku O’Neal of Pelham, Alabama on July 7th 2021. Loving daughter of the late Jacob Mwangi Wainaina and Lydiah Nyathogora Mwangi Wainaina.

Loving mother to two adorable children, Arianna Lydiah O’Neal, 6years and Emmanuel Jakobi O’Neal, 2years. She was the beloved sister to Pauline Mwangi Njoroge, Sammy Wainaina Mwangi and Lilian Mwangi Gichobi. Sister-in-law to Philip Njoroge Thuo and Edwin Gichobi. Aunt to Christopher Njoroge, Hannah Njoroge, Jeremiah Gichobi, Abigail Gichobi, Lydiah Wainaina, Natasha Wainaina and Zacharia Wainaina. Niece, cousin and friend to many and a joy to all who knew her.

Fundraising for the children and funeral arrangements are ongoing in Birmingham, Alabama via virtual meetings.

Memorial service details:

Memorial service will be held on Saturday July 24th 2021 from 1pm to 4pm at Church of the Highlands, Riverchase campus, 9013 Helena Rd, Pelham Alabama 35124.
