Larry G. Mowery, Sr, 73, of Hattiesburg passed away on July 19, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg at 1:30 P.M. with visitation from 12:30 P.M. until service time, followed by burial in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Mowery was a veteran of the United States Army and served during Vietnam. He was a member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Corvette Club, the Antique Automobile and Engine Club of Mississippi, and the Corvette Grand Sport Registry. He also enjoyed collecting model trains. He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. and Arlene Mowery; his wife, Patti Mowery; and one brother, Barry Mowery, Sr. He is survived by his son, Larry G. Mowery, Jr. of Hattiesburg; his three brothers, Butch Mowery (Julie) of FL, Curt Mowery (Sandy) of FL, and Glenn Mowery (Karen) of PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
