<p>Charleen Strother, 92, of Floral, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at home surrounded by the ones she loved. Charleen was born December 21, 1928 in McHue, Arkansas to Harry and Mamie (Apple) Crowell. She married Robert James (Bob) Strother on December 24, 1947. Charleen was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all who loved her.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband; two sisters, Clora May and Colleen Creech; two nephews, Lynn May and George May; and one great nephew, Michael. &nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Sue; two grandchildren, Cristy (Robert) Bristow and their children (RJ and Thomas) and Candi (Kerri) Moore and their children; two nieces, Conda Platt and Caryn (Cindy) Creech; and one very special friend, Skeeter.</p> <p>There will be a graveside service at Palestine Cemetery on Hutchison Mountain on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 2PM officiated by Ricky Harris. Pallbearers will be RJ Bristow, Thomas Bristow, Robert Bristow, Martin Gann, Howard Powell, and Brock Newman. Honorary Pallbearers are Tony Roberts, Mark Hightower, James Wilson, and all the kids that called her grandma.</p>
