Amie Foday

<p>Amie Foday was born in Bo Town, Sierra Leone in 1980 to Hannah and Abraham Foday. She was raised in Bo Town, Southern Province in Sierra Leone until the age of 19.</p> <p>She attended Holy Rosary School (HRS) for Primary School and went to Saint Andrews Secondary School (UCC) which she attended until 1999 when the family was forced to relocate to Guinea due to the Sierra Leone civil war.&nbsp;</p> <p>The family later transitioned from Guinea to the United States of America in March of 2000. Amie was gainfully employed in the retail industry in several capacities for many years and then transitioned to the healthcare field as a dedicated caregiver at various nursing homes. Most recently, she was employed at Creekside Alzheimer&rsquo;s Specialty Care in Pearland, Texas for the past 6 years. Amie was well loved by her co-workers, and a source of humorous joy and light for her family.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her sons, Emmanuel and David; both parents; four sisters; one brother; and several relatives, friends, members of her Church and the Sierra Leonean community in Houston, Texas, USA, and abroad.</p> <p>May her soul rest in perfect peace!</p> <p><strong>To celebrate Amie&#39;s life, the family has entrusted the professional services to Ben Davis Funeral Home, 931 Preston St., Columbus, Texas 78934.</strong></p>
